EPIC Elektroplanung GmbH
Germany
The engineering office EPIC Elektroplanung GmbH was founded in April 1992 in Erfurt by Ms. Barbara Adams (Commercial Director, Economist) and Dipl.-Ing. (TU) Wolfgang Sturm (Technical Director).
Since then, we have realized numerous projects for private and public clients throughout Germany. The subject of our activity includes planning and construction management according to the HOAI service phases and based on the legal provisions of the construction industry for high and low voltage systems.
Some of our work includes complete or partial systems for theaters in Erfurt, for the Erfurt Cathedral, for schools, sports facilities, and kindergartens in Thuringia, for energy supply systems throughout Thuringia, for the office and administration complex "Frankfurter Welle", for Deutsche Bank Frankfurt am Main, for large office and administrative facilities in Munich, residential construction, building and renovation at Bauhaus University Weimar.
As part of project development, we strive to be integrated into a project team with builders, users, architects, and project managers as early as possible to be able to offer cost-effective, economical and environmentally conscious solutions and to implement the new technical developments. A few examples include the first SF6-insulated switchgear in Erfurt, the first major EIB project on the "Frankfurter Welle", a modern indoor shooting range for the Thuringian police with fiber optic video technology in the teaching area, the first LED technology in Erfurt housing and electronic measurement recording.
Based on our extensive experience in planning, construction management and billing of construction services, we started preparing and programming the measurement program in 2004 and have been continuously developing it with the help of computer scientists from the TU Ilmenau.
Today we see our task in providing companies with an effective and inexpensive tool that meets customer requirements and is constantly being improved for their work.
