The latest version of SEH's proven management tool for USB devices in the network now supports the current Apple operating system macOS Sonoma 14 and merges the previous versions UTN Manager 3.3.x and 3.4.x into a single product.

With the switch to OpenSSL 3.0 and the support of SOCKSv5 proxies, the SEH UTN Manager 4 ensures greater security when managing USB devices. With the latest Long-Term Support branch 3.0 (LTS) of OpenSSL, SEH can ensure support until 2026. This guarantees that customers will continue to benefit from improvements and security patches in the future, in addition to investment protection for customers. The switch to OpenSSL 3.0 has taken place not just with the UTN Manager, but also across other SEH product lines of device and dongle servers.

The support of SOCKSv5 proxies was integrated at the request of customers in government agencies, where UTN data traffic should be routed via a proxy server. Additionally, many usability improvements have been made. These include quick search (live filtering), creating favourites for frequently used USB devices and activating them via keyboard shortcuts from the operating system. With Dynamic Activate, defined USB devices in the network are automatically activated and integrated into the system as soon as the UTN Manager detects them on a managed USB port, which further simplifies operation.

By merging versions 3.3.x and 3.4.x in the latest UTN Manager, customers with heterogeneous system environments from Windows, Linux and MacOS no longer have to install different versions. This makes maintaining the software versions easier for customers.
